​​   The Rev. Tyrone D. Sellers was born in Brooklyn, NY​​​ On Jan 20th. He began his Christian journey by accepting Christ coupled with being baptized at the age of eight at the King Emmanuel Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Jessie J. Sumbry. It was at King Emmanuel Baptist Church where Tyrone served as the Youth Usher Board President, Director and President of the Choir. Pastor Tyrone attended P.S. 73, Roy H. Mann, I.S. 271, and Huddie Junior High School where he was class valedictorian. He attended and graduated from Canarsie High School in Brooklyn NY. This young man's life wasn't easy growing up in Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn. He was always in trouble in school; not for his grades but he was always outspoken and sometime at the "wrong time". Not only was he outspoken in school, but in his home as well. For two years he had to go through his wilderness experience, it was during this time his grandmother informed him that Jesus is a friend that sticks closer than any brother​.

 

At the age of fifteen Tyrone became a member of the Prichard Ensemble of Brooklyn, NY under direction of Min. Deborah Prichard Stevenson. At age Seventeen the Lord saw fit to move Tyrone to another division in Zion, Tyrone joined the Ebenezer Baptist church under the leadership of his father Bishop Dr. Alfred L. Phillips

Under the leadership of Bishop Phillips, Tyrone was licensed to ordained and was called to the office of Jr. Trustee and youth pastor. There he served in many facets of this teaching ministry and has been placed in the office as Chairman of the Anointed by God Ministries & Ministers Alliance which has to date 4,000 graduates and still hold office till this present day.

At age of nineteen Tyrone became part of the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) under direction of Bishop Albert L. Jamison, In 2008 Rev. Sellers received his Bachelors of Arts in Biblical Studies from Anointed by God Theological Seminary. In 2009 Rev. Tyrone received an Honorary Professorship.

In the year of 2010 Tyrone was accepted into the Unification theological Seminary, New York, NY. Here is where he attended for his master's of divinity and was the youngest in his class, this determination and zeal led Tyrone to become the Student Body President. Tyrone also serves as a Chaplain with the NY Regional Police​​​​. On April 3rd 2011 Pastor Tyrone was licensed as an Evangelist from the Bethel Tabernacle Of Praise. He has also worked for Jewish Child Care Association for many years and now also works for the Department of Education. He is also one of the founding members of the Dr. Tanya J. Johnson high school in Brooklyn NY.

​Tyrone has ministered and bears the mark of a servant, teacher, evangelist and a preacher. Tyrone Loves God and loves Gods people, his favorite scripture is I will bless the Lord at all times and praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34.1
