Dr. Johnson has a wealth of experience and knowledge. He first came to know Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior in 1956 while attending Ebeneezer Gospel Tabernacle in Brooklyn, New York. An insatiable curiosity coupled with an eagerness to learn would later gain him a place in society as an astute businessman.  His work in the church can be dated back to 1969, when he joined Elim Church (now known as Elim International Fellowship). At Elim under the watchful care of Bishop Wilbert Sterling McKinley, Elder Johnson would serve in various capacities including Church Administrator and Chairman of the Trustee and Deacon boards. ​

Later he would also serve Bishop McKinley as an adjutant and was even appointed "Shepard" to oversee more than 50 families. Now many years later, Dr. Johnson is currently a member of Greater St. Mary Church of Christ located in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. The list of titles, roles and responsibilities bestowed on him are too numerous to mention. It is noteworthy however, to acknowledge that due to his extensive ministry experience Dr.Johnson was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Ministry.

Recently and prior to founding ECO Dr.Johnson served in a major role as External Affairs Director for "Anointed By God" Ministries. In this capacity, he carried out a number of roles including instructor, administrator and executive board member.

Now as our Founder, Chairman and Dean of Chaplaincy Training, Dr. Johnson has has taken his vast amount of experience, expertise, and wisdom and is sharing them with the men and women utilizing the ECO program as their vehicle to touch the world.
